1. Make sure you’re logged into the Vault.  Your screen should look like the following:


2. In the Vault – on the right hand upper corner, click on the icon you see below.  


3. You’ll get a pull down menu like the picture below.  Select ALC Complete Search



4. The following Screen should appear.

 


5. Select the Checked in/ Out tab.  Click on check box “Display checked out files”, make sure the other box is UNCHECKED.   Select your name from the pull-down list.  

 


6. Then click on the magnifying glass with the little green triangle that I’ve highlighted below.


7. Once the search is done, you’ll get a list of files you have checked out in the vault. If nothing shows up on this list, then you’re good to go. If a list of files shows up that you have checked out, then you need to go the directory listed below (Found In) and check the file in.
