1. When you have downloaded a file/program navigate to the downloads folder
2. Then Right-Click on file/program
3. Select the Show more options
4. Then in the new window or list that opens select the Scan with Webroot option.
5. When the scan is complete you will see the results of the scan as shown in screenshot above.
6. As you can see from my scan, it will show you how many files you have scanned, and any threats detected. If it does detect a threat it will quarantine or ask you to quarantine and delete.
7. You can do this with any existing files/programs if needed.
